It's among the most famous kisses in TV history. At the 2003 MTV Music Video Awards, pop icons Madonna and Britney Spears shared a lip lock on screen. During an interview on ABC's "Nightline" on Thursday (Jan. 12), the Material Girl fondly revisits the moment.
Madonna says of the smooch with Britney, "Nice moment, good kisser, cool." But when asked whether she'd do it again, the 53-year-old says, "No, I already did it. I don't like to repeat myself."
Perhaps this last comment about not repeating herself shouldn't be much of a surprise from a woman who seemingly reinvented her image every year during her heyday. That said, she didn't comment about a follow up kiss with Christina Aguilera.
