Britney, in her first tweet of 2012, sent the snap to her 12,239,754 followers which showed the Criminal singer stood in her dressing room smiling as she held out her left hand to show off her engagement ring.
The photo was accompanied by the words 'I can't stop looking at it!!'.
Spears' boyfriend, 40-year-old Trawick, popped the question to the singer late last year. Britney had previously hinted at the happy news with the tweet: 'OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo’.
The pair's engagement was later confirmed on Access Hollywood with an agent telling the show: 'Yes, they are engaged'. 30-year-old Spears had previously been seen flaunting her engagement ring at a birthday party for her fiancé in Las Vegas. 2012 seems to be looking up for the pop star as her Femme Fatale tour last year failed to break the bank, despite Brit inviting The Wanted to feature as a support act.
