It sounds as though Britney Spears has caught the acting bug again. But don't worry, we won't be subjected to another sappy goody two shoes like her character in Crossroads. Britney wants to explore her dark side.
Swanning around London with a gun for her Criminal music video must have given her a taste for the adrenalin of life on the run. According to The Sun, Brit wants to venture down the film path sometime next year. She said: "Definitely next year I am going to take a different route. I see myself being a detective, assassin or even a bad girl."
She'd make a pretty sexy assassin in that Oops I Did It Again catsuit. Although probably not the most inconspicuous...As much as we love you Britney we really don't think acting is where it's at for you. Maybe comedy, that we can accept but please, no dodgy detective roles. Just stick to what you're doing with the bangin' tunes. If it ain't broke and all that. What do you think?
