Britney Spears's father Jamie Spears is trying to stop her from starting a family with her new boyfriend Jason Trawick, according to In Touch magazine. Britney's dad was made her legal guardian three years ago after the meltdown that saw her lose custody of her two sons to ex Kevin Federline. And although her career is back on track, Britney's dad is still imposing strict limitations on her personal life, according to the mag.
A source tells In Touch that although Jamie understands that his daughter is "in love with Jason and wants to start a family with him," he's also trying to protect her from another breakdown.
"He feels she's still too unstable to even think of having another baby," says the source. According to the magazine, Britney's 2008 hospitalisation was triggered by post natal depression after the birth of her second son. As much as she adores Sean, 5, and Jayden, 4, Britney desperately wants "a big family," and longs for a little girl she can "dress up and do girlie things with," a friend tells the mag.
