Britney Spears, boyfriend and ex-spouse unite at son's baseball diversion... In any case Sean Preston steals the show: It's a common problem - how to combine the extended members of a step-family without causing friction. Luckily for Britney Spears there appeared to be no animosity between ex-husband Kevin Federline and her current boyfriend Jason Trawick as they ran into one another at her son Sean Federline's baseball match today.  It is the first time Britney has been photographed with Federline since they separated in 2006.

Federline, who is one of the team's coaches, watched the game with girlfriend Victoria Prince, offering encouragement to the youngsters. He and Trawick, while not exactly friendly, seemed happy to greet one another. Trawick even approached Federline to offer his congratulations at the end of the Little League game in Calabasas, California.

Of course, this wasn't their day, but four-year-old Sean's. He certainly made the most of his chance to shine, showing his talent as he hit the ball, ran round the pitch and got into the spirit of the game. Showing he has inherited the confidence of his pop star mother, herself a child star, he ignored the cameras as he strutted around, enjoying the attention of his extended family.

Sean even showed he has inherited his mother's love of takeaway soft drinks - sipping from a child size paper cup reminiscent of his mother's Frappuccino addiction. Of course, rather than a coffee, his appeared to be a more child-friendly soda. Younger brother Jayden, three, watched the match with his mother, cheering on his brother from the sidelines.
