Britney Spears and Paris Hilton friendship again: Former friends Britney Spears and Paris Hilton were spotted together Thursday after turning up as guests to the same Hollywood dinner party, Star Pulse reported.

Hilton was cut out of the “Circus” singer’s life back in 2008 after suffering a breakdown which led to her losing custody of her two sons. During that time, she was also placed under the conservatorship of her father.

Even though the starlet has cleaned up her act and has been working back in the studio, Hilton has taken the opposite direction and has found herself in trouble with the law on numerous occasions for drug possession last year.

Despite their past, the two looked like they patched up their friendship Thursday as they smiled and posed for the cameras. An eyewitness tells E! Online, "Britney was shy with most of the people there. But she and Paris hugged and talked for awhile."
